Italian luxury clothing brand Paul & Shark is taking over Formentera Island this summer with the launch of the ‘Juvia by Paul & Shark’ project.
Juvia, a chic restaurant located in Es Pujols, is a lifestyle project created by visionary Italian partners who have been restaurateurs for decades.
As part of the takeover, Paul & Shark designed the restaurant’s minimalist-chic outdoor area, offering a serene setting with a view of the sea, complete with cotton cushions and branded decor. Standing out in the decor are the blue hues of the Paul & Shark brand, made primarily from recovered materials in a nod to the upcycling theme often present in its projects.
Likewise, throughout the summer, Juvia by Paul & Shark will host a variety of activities, engaging friends of the brand, talents, and international press.
Guests at Juvia can enjoy lunch through dinner, with a menu that boasts Mediterranean cuisine, blending Italian and Spanish influences. The venue also features an outdoor beach bar, serving signature cocktails.
Beyond the dining experience, the brand has partnered with Vellmarì, a local organization dedicated to marine research and the protection of the island’s ecosystem, by supporting the cultivation and planting of 700 posidonia plants, a vital marine plant that thrives around Formentera.
The move marks a continuation of Paul & Shark’s custom summer projects initiated in 2023. Paul & Shark is one of a handful of luxury and premium brands hosting “takeovers” across the world to bring their vision to life in unique destinations and settings.
In particular, fashion brand Guess recently ventured into the heart of South Africa to launch an exclusive safari takeover at the Botlierskop Private Game Reserve Lodge. Likewise, Michael Kors launched an exclusive takeover of Joia Beach in Miami, earlier this month.
