The campaign, lensed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, pays homage to “feminine beauty and its power,” with campaign images and a video depicting the actress studying for a role, “a character that loves the camera almost as much as it loves her,” wearing her signature shade: 16 Scarlet Rouge, according to a press release from the Estée Lauder-owned brand.

The new Tom Ford Runway Lip Color is crafted with a hydrating complex that conditions lips with a fade-resistant color. Debuting in September, the collection will feature 18 shades, 10 existing and 8 new, said the U.S. beauty giant, which first entered the lip category with the debut of the Private Blend Lip Color Collection in 2010.

An Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Tony Award winner, Jolie has established herself as an international star in cinema. In addition to acting, Jolie is involved in humanitarian work, with over 20 years in the field, focusing on refugees and human rights. Additionally, as a fashion entrepreneur, she recently founded Atelier Jolie, a hub for artists to create their own fashion, with a focus on sustainability.

The new Tom Ford Beauty campaign featuring Jolie will launch globally on September 3 coinciding with the launch of the lipsticks. Prices range from $46 for the pencils to $62 for the lipsticks.
